THINKPASS · EDULOOCK
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Your family’s information helps ThinkPass provide learning breaks and show your child’s progress. This policy explains what we use, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
ThinkPass is provided by EduLoock. This policy covers the ThinkPass Android app and the parent website at thinkpass.app. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean EduLoock.
For privacy questions, contact kzedevelopments@gmail.com.
What information we use and why
- Your account. We use your email address, account ID, and sign-in records to let you access ThinkPass and protect your family’s information.
- Your child’s profile. We use the display name and grade you enter to personalize the app and choose learning questions. You can use a nickname. Children do not need an email address or password. We do not ask for their birth date, school, or home address.
- Learning progress. We save which questions were completed, whether answers were correct, when breaks were completed, and how much entertainment time was earned. This lets you follow your child’s progress.
- Settings and connected devices. We save the learning settings you choose, identifiers that link a device to your family, and connection and control status. This allows the app to apply your settings and keep you informed.
- Security information. Our services receive your IP address when your device connects. We use coded network and device records, connection attempts, and security events to prevent misuse and investigate problems.
- Messages to us. If you contact support, we receive your email address and what you send us so we can respond. Please do not send passwords, pairing codes, or unnecessary personal information about your child.
What ThinkPass can access on your child’s device
App selection and Usage access. ThinkPass shows the apps available on the device so you can choose which ones to manage. Usage access helps count the time spent in your selected apps. Your app selection and time spent in individual apps stay on that device; we do not upload the installed-app list or per-app usage history.
Accessibility access. This tells ThinkPass when the app being used changes, so it can show a learning break over a selected app at the limit you set. ThinkPass does not read what is on the screen, messages, what your child types, or where they tap. We explain this permission during setup before you decide whether to turn it on.
Optional Notification access. Android gives this permission access to notifications, including message previews, and the ability to dismiss them. ThinkPass uses it only to pause music or video in your selected app when a learning break starts. We do not read, save, upload, or dismiss your notifications, or collect the titles of music or videos. You can choose “Not now”; some players may then continue playing during breaks.
You can turn these permissions off in Android settings. Turning off Usage access or Accessibility access prevents ThinkPass from enforcing learning breaks. When the device is offline, saved questions remain available and results are sent to your account when the device reconnects.
Service providers
We use Amazon Web Services to host ThinkPass and store application data, Supabase to manage parent sign-in, and Google Gmail to handle support emails.
Cookies and advertising
Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in. ThinkPass does not show ads, sell your family’s information, or use it for advertising. We do not include third-party tools that track how you use the app for analytics.
How we protect your information
We encrypt information while it travels between ThinkPass and our servers. We limit access to your family’s records through account and device checks. The Android app also encrypts stored learning records and protects its sign-in credentials. No system can guarantee complete security.
Your information and your choices
You can review your child’s profile, adjust learning settings, and view progress in your parent account. You can also turn device permissions off in Android settings.
ThinkPass stores your account, profile, device, and progress records on servers hosted by Amazon Web Services in Northern Virginia, United States. Copies may also be kept in backups. Removing the app from a phone does not remove these records.
You can request deletion of your ThinkPass account. This removes your parent sign-in, child profiles, learning settings, paired-device records, and learning progress from our active services. Deletion starts after you confirm your request; an unavailable service provider can delay completion.
We keep account and family records while your account is active. Server recovery backups are kept for 30 days and then removed. We keep a coded record of a completed deletion for 30 days to prevent old sign-in sessions from recreating the account. Backup copies are not used to restore deleted accounts to active use.
An offline phone cannot receive a deletion notice. Turn off ThinkPass Accessibility access and uninstall ThinkPass from each child’s phone to remove the information saved there. If you cannot access a device, contact us for help with your deletion request.
For questions about accessing, correcting, or deleting your family’s information, contact kzedevelopments@gmail.com.
Children’s privacy
ThinkPass is designed for children to use with a parent or guardian’s involvement. Parents set up the account, choose learning settings, and see their family’s progress. Children’s profiles and results are not public. ThinkPass does not offer social features or public rankings, or use children’s information for advertising.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this policy as ThinkPass changes. When we make significant changes to how we use your information, we will explain them to parents and request new permission or consent where required.
