How it works

From setup to the first learning break

Four steps, each one reversible. ThinkPass never takes a device away — it adds a short pause between entertainment and more entertainment.Start setup

    Create a child profile

Add a first name and grade level. ThinkPass uses the grade to pick age-appropriate questions — nothing else about your child is required.

    • First name and grade level only
    • One profile per child, editable at any time
    • No photo, address, or school details

    Choose a learning policy

Decide how many active entertainment minutes pass before a break, how many questions the break holds, and which subjects those questions come from.

    • Active minutes count only while a counted app is in use
    • Subject weights must add up to 100%
    • Reading, school tools, and calls stay uncounted

    Pair a device

Install ThinkPass on your child’s Android device and grant two permissions. If either one is missing, the dashboard says so plainly instead of implying everything is fine.

    • Usage Access tells ThinkPass which app category is active
    • Accessibility lets the learning break appear over an app
    • Older Android versions may not support both

    Review progress together

Each break records what was asked and how it went. Use it as a conversation starter — a lower result simply means that topic returns sooner.

    • Private to the family account
    • No ranking against other children
    • Offline results sync after reconnection

What a break looks like for your child

A friendly card appears with three questions. Answering them adds more active entertainment time. Getting one wrong is fine — that topic just comes back another day.
